About This Documentation Portal¶
Here you can find information about Craftology (pronounced /kriːˈeɪt/ with slightly emphasized or elongated “ee”), a next-generation Creative Intelligence Framework, that is an AI-native system built to automate and streamline video content production.
A Living Knowledge Space¶
This documentation portal is designed as a single, connected space where different audiences can find exactly what they need without switching between tools or sources.
It brings together user guidance, system design, implementation details, and operational knowledge into one structured experience. The structure itself reflects how Craftology is used and built, from first steps to deep technical internals.
How the Portal Is Organized¶
At the top level, the portal starts with a few simple entry points: a home page, this “About” section, a glossary, and shared resources. These provide orientation and common language across teams.
From there, the structure branches into several major areas.
Craftology User Documentation¶
This is the most approachable part of the portal. It is designed for creators and anyone working directly in the Craftology application.
It starts with onboarding materials like Start Here and gradually moves into:
It also includes dedicated sections for Storycraft, practical how-to guides, and a full support area with troubleshooting, reporting issues, and working with logs and replays.
This section answers the question:
“How do I use Craftology effectively?”
Design and Architecture¶
Moving deeper, the portal introduces the Introduction, Frontend, Backend, and ML sections.
Here, the focus shifts from usage to understanding how the system is designed.
You’ll find:
This is where product decisions, system behavior, and architecture are explained in detail.
This section answers:
“Why does the system work this way?”
Implementation¶
Alongside design, the portal includes implementation-focused documentation.
Frontend and backend modules are documented with:
- module-level descriptions
- API references
- integration details
Machine learning components, such as XUMI and multi-agent systems, are also documented with both design and API-level detail.
This is the space developers use when they need to understand or modify the system.
Onboarding and Operations¶
The Onboarding section helps developers get up and running with the platform and its ecosystem.
It includes practical guides such as:
This is where theory becomes practice.
The Product Assistant¶
Product Assistant is an AI-powered guide that helps you navigate all this information without needing to know where it lives.
You can ask it questions in natural language, such as:
-
“Does Craftology include backend and frontend layers?”
-
“How is Storycraft implemented?”
-
“How do I report an issue?”
What makes it especially powerful is that it works in three focused modes, each aligned with a different type of knowledge in the portal:
- Design mode explores architectural documents, TDDs, and system overviews
- Implementation mode focuses on source code documentation and APIs
- Support mode searches user guides and helpdesk materials
Instead of browsing manually, you can switch modes depending on your intent — whether you are designing, building, or troubleshooting.
Note
Different modes are available for developers only. Other users benefit from default Support mode.
