Agents in Craftology¶
The Craftology Agentic Architecture¶
Agentic Architecture (aka "Web 4.0")¶
Instead of the traditional "Input → Save to Database" approach, the Agentic Architecture turns Craftology into an active AI Producer that constantly learns and adapts based on user feedback.
What it does¶
Everything—stories, assets, shots—is linked in a Unified Knowledge Graph. User actions aren’t just database updates—they’re treated as intents that the system interprets and acts on intelligently.
How it works (The AI Producer Flow)¶
- User Intent: You make a change, like editing a character in Storycraft.
- Context Analysis: The AI Producer looks at the change in the context of the full Project Knowledge Graph.
-
Agent Orchestration: Specialized agents spring into action to keep everything consistent. For example:
- The Continuity Agent checks for plot holes.
- The Storycraft Agent updates scene text.
- The Asset Agent updates character models or assets.
- Golden Path Optimization: The system recalculates the project schedule and flags tasks that are no longer needed. For example, if a character becomes "one-legged," a planned animation sprint might be canceled.
- Real-Time Sync: An Orchestration Layer pushes updates to all modules (Storycraft, Assets, Shots) immediately, so everything stays in sync.
How This Approach Helps Us¶
The biggest advantage is that it fixes the "Semantic Disconnect" found in older systems — where data exists, but context is ignored.
- The system keeps the Golden Path consistent across all modules, so everything stays aligned automatically.
- You don’t have to hunt down and fix inconsistencies manually. For example, if a character bio changes, all affected scenes are updated automatically.
- Agent reasoning can take some time, but the system hides the wait using an Optimistic UI & Streaming. Your intent is understood immediately, and updates stream in as they’re ready, keeping the workflow smooth and responsive.
Why This Architecture Is Essential¶
There are three big reasons this approach isn’t optional:
- Craftology’s promise is to give creators an AI-powered team. If you still have to manually check for plot holes or fix inconsistencies, it’s just a fancy database — not a team. This architecture removes that friction and uncertainty.
- By routing all logic through agents, the system collects structured data that helps train its internal models. Over time, the Golden Path gets smarter and more reliable, creating a continuous improvement cycle.
- This architecture builds a strong architectural moat - a technical barrier that protects Craftology unique capabilities. The neuro-symbolic engine understands narrative logic in a way that’s tough for competitors to copy, giving Craftology a lasting edge in the market.
